NKOTB's Jordan Knight Looking For Singers With The "Right Stuff"

Former New Kid on the Block Jordan Knight has a few projects going. He's working on a solo album as well as something he calls "Jordan Idol." The singer tells MTV.com, quote, "This idea of 'Jordan Idol' came up while I was in the recording studio in Boston and a lot of fans showed up...and I just went out there with a [video camera]." Knight posted the video on YouTube, which led to a huge response from fans who also wanted a chance to sing for him. That prompted a "Jordan Idol" event in Nashville, and now he's holding more auditions in New York. Knight says he's doing this for fun and to see where it leads. He explains, quote, "Maybe there is someone out there who can really put it down and, if I have the connections to help them out, it's kind of always been a dream of mine to help somebody out."
